"We live in a culture that offers endless solutions for digestion, weight change, health optimization and wishful longevity," as a result, many folks have deeply destructive relationships with food & running, favouring an understanding of health that is increasingly tied to control, shame, rigidity, aesthetics, and size.
Intention: Join us as we divest from constructs of health that exclude and profit more than help. We hope to untangle the harmful conflation of Running, Health and Wellness.
Run: Join PLR Founder Filsan for a 2km and 4km run/walk, followed with brunch.
Discussion: Holding space for our [collective] grief.
